How can we live in the future in a climate-neutral and biodiversity-promoting way and at the same time create social added value? How can we travel in an affordable, climate-neutral way — privately and professionally? How do we eat regionally and regeneratively?
These questions can only be answered together, co-creatively and with a new understanding of innovation. “Decouple prosperity and life satisfaction from ecological burdens”
Unchecked growth and the overuse of resources cannot be solved by technology alone. In the long term, we need new consumption patterns and social innovations. Approaches such as Sharing, most people are familiar with the concept of “sharing instead of owning.” A change in the perception of consumption and prosperity is taking place in parallel in an inventive way in the areas of housing, mobility and nutrition.
In order to enable and accelerate innovation, we aim to connect cities and administrations with eco-social innovators, stakeholders from the private sector and academia. We can financially support ideas that arise through the Innovation Booster Program with up to CHF 25,000, including vouchers for expert advice and coaching. In this way, we make it possible to further develop and test the still niche but promising innovations in urban areas of Switzerland.
